Paris, upside-down

A Camera Obscura is a dark room with a small hole in one wall. When it's bright outside, light enters through the hole and projects an upside down image of the outside world onto the wall opposite the hole.

When I was in college, I spent a summer in Paris and I was obsessed with camera obscuras. I bought a heavy black tarp from BHV, sealed it against a window and watched the distorted image come across my wall. I recently found these photos again and I am so glad I documented this process.
